Danvers Eases Outdoor Water Restrictions Ahead Of Summer

Residents can now use sprinklers or irrigation systems on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 7 to 10 p.m. under Level 4 rules.

DANVERS, MA — Danvers moved to Level 4 outdoor water restrictions effective on Monday as drought conditions eased slightly in the region.

Town officials said adequate precipitation levels and improved water levels in Middleton Pond allowed for easing of restrictions.

With those conditions met, Danvers said it can reduce the restrictions placed on outdoor watering. Under Level 4 drought conditions, outdoor lawn and garden watering with sprinklers and or irrigation systems is allowed only on Tuesday and Saturday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
