• Danvers Church Seeks Artist Behind Mystery Painting (iheart.com) — Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church in Danvers is trying to track down the mysterious artist behind a contemporary painting of Michelangelo's "The Deposition," discovered years ago hidden behind the church furnace. The congregation hopes to identify "R.H." before permanently hanging the work and featuring it at their Nov. 1 art fair, where the artist would be invited to attend.
   

• Soccer Recap: Tough Loss for Danvers (maxpreps.com) — Danvers High's soccer team dropped its fifth straight game, falling 7–0 to Masconomet and slipping to an 0–6–1 record. Despite the rough stretch and lower state ranking, the Falcons quickly regroup for a road match at Saugus on Wednesday afternoon, while Masconomet travels to face Winthrop the same day.
