• Missing Rochester Man Sought After Last Seen in Fairhaven; Phone Pinged in Dartmouth (newbedfordguide.com) — Police are asking Fairhaven and Dartmouth residents to help locate Thomas Janicki, who left his Rochester home and was last seen walking away from his vehicle in Fairhaven before his phone last pinged near South Avenue in Dartmouth. Anyone who may have seen him or has information is urged to call Rochester Police at 508-763-5112 so officers can check on his safety.
   

• Walgreens is shuttering several locations. Any in Massachusetts? (milforddailynews.com) — Fairhaven residents already felt Walgreens’ downsizing when the local store closed in 2025, part of a broader wave of Massachusetts shutdowns that also hit Cambridge, Easthampton, and several other cities. The company hasn’t named any Bay State locations for closure in 2026 yet, but is continuing to cut underperforming stores nationwide after steep financial losses and a major restructuring plan.
