(capecodtimes.com) — Starbucks is closing more than 250 shops nationwide, but the 11 Cape Cod locations, including the one in Falmouth, are staying open. The company says it's trimming underperforming stores while keeping cafes where it can deliver a strong customer and employee experience.
   

• Who was the Cape Cod and Islands top boys soccer player last week (capecodtimes.com) — Cape Cod high school soccer fans can vote online for last week's standout boys players, including an athlete who scored a hat trick as his team beat Falmouth Academy 5–0. Voting runs Wednesday through Tuesday on the Cape Cod Times site, with winners announced weekly alongside the next poll.
