• New Mass. group provides support to people whose loved ones died in murder-suicides (wbur.org) — A new in‑person support group now meets monthly at Call2Talk's Framingham office for people across New England grieving loved ones lost to murder‑suicide or attempted homicide‑suicide. Facilitator Jenna Howe, who experienced this kind of loss herself, says gathering without screens lets participants finally talk openly about complex feelings that friends and family often avoid, even decades later.
   

• Husson falls to Framingham State in season opener (foxbangor.com) — Framingham State University's Rams opened their football season with a 33-21 road win over Husson, giving local fans an early reason to cheer. After falling behind 7-0, the Rams' offense, led by quarterback Michael Marcucella and receiver Mathias Fowler, responded with big plays and a gutsy fourth-down touchdown strike to seal the victory.
