• The Chateau de Ville was a glitzy entertainment destination for two decades (fiftyplusadvocate.com) — Framingham's former Chateau de Ville on Route 9 once drew big-name musicians and comedians to an elegant 675-seat dinner theater that opened in 1971. For two decades it was a regional nightlife hotspot before closing in the 1980s; today, Cabot House Furniture occupies the site, but longtime residents still remember its glitzy opening nights and star-studded shows.
