• Town Council hears from NatinalGrid, Fire Dept, and Police Dept and completes session within 4 hours (video) (franklinmatters.org) — Franklin’s Town Council wrapped its April 15 meeting in under four hours while hearing major updates from NationalGrid, the Fire Department, and Police Department. Councilors reviewed electric reliability issues in the town’s north, fire and EMS capacity, and police staffing needs, including the push for 34 patrol officers and long-discussed station improvements.
   

• FY 2027 Budget Narrative: Treasurer-Collector section (franklinmatters.org) — Franklin residents can see how the Treasurer/Collector’s office plans to manage tax billing, payroll, and investments in the proposed FY 2027 budget, including maintaining the town’s AAA bond rating.
