• Mass. woman killed in horse riding accident in Groton (nbcboston.com) — A 25-year-old rider died after a fall at Scarlet Hill Farm on Lowell Road in Groton, where fire crews responded and had her airlifted to a Worcester trauma center. The Swampscott woman, identified by other reports as Chloe Smith, was an avid equestrian and new farm owner remembered for her passion for animals and teaching riders. Her horse also died in the accident.
