Roundabout tentatively considered for Cushing Street intersection; Hingham Centre roundabout to be installed in near future (hinghamanchor.com) — Hingham officials are advancing a one-lane roundabout at Short/Main/Middle streets in Hingham Centre while weighing a possible roundabout at the Cushing/South Pleasant/Main intersection after community input. The select board also approved a speed limit reduction on High Street near French/Ward and is considering a pilot four-way stop downtown, all aimed at improving safety for drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists.

Man charged in deadly Hingham Apple store crash is back in jail (wickedlocal.com) — The man charged in the 2022 crash into the Apple Store at Derby Street Shops in Hingham has been ordered back to jail after allegedly failing a court-ordered alcohol test. He faces serious charges tied to the fatal incident and remains in custody while lawyers argue over his pretrial release and prepare for a trial currently scheduled for January 2027.
3. Skiing Welcomes Six-Member Class of 2030 (gocrimson.com) — A Hingham native, alpine skier Hadley Reed, is joining Harvard's Class of 2030 ski team after a standout junior career that includes a U18 national title and top U.S. rankings.
