ā¢ Wales town treasurer faces embezzling, larceny charges (wwlp.com) ā Holland residents should know that the treasurer of a regional veteransā service district that serves Holland is accused of embezzling more than $50,000 from that agency. Prosecutors also allege he stole about $138,000 from the town of Wales, and he has pleaded not guilty, with a pre-trial hearing set for September 9.
