Historian and Colonial printer Gary Gregory discusses how Revolutionary Boston's Committee of Safety and the Provincial Congress alerted the people in rural towns of Massachusetts to plan and create a revolution against British rule. Printed documents found in the Westborough Public Library's collection, as well as Town Meeting notes, show how the people of Westborough were transformed from subjects of an Empire to "Free citizens of a New Republic."
