
Step back into America’s golden era on Wednesday, June 17 from 6pm –8pm, when author Jana Milbocker will talk about her newest book, Gardens of the Gilded Age at Castle Hill on the Crane Estate, 290Argilla Road, Ipswich.
In this richly illustrated talk, Jana will explore the estates andlandscapes created for families such as the Vanderbilts, Rockefellers –and the Cranes – alongside the visionary architects and designers who brought their grandeur to life. Castle Hill is one of thirty gardens profiled in the book.
The author talk will take place in the Great House and doors will open at5:30 pm. Attendees are welcome to arrive early and explore the CastleHill gardens and grounds.

About the Author: Jana Milbocker is an author, speaker, and garden designer. She loves visiting gardens and historic sites in the United States and abroad, and sharing her trips through guided garden tours, photos, and prose. In addition to *Gardens of the Gilded Age*, she is the author of four garden travel guides that profile 310 gardens on theEast Coast.
