• Rewriting history: The Lofts at Eagle Mill transform a once derelict structure into affordable housing for Lee (theberkshireedge.com) — Lee’s historic Eagle Mill has reopened as The Lofts at Eagle Mill, bringing dozens of affordable and mixed-income apartments within walking distance of downtown shops and transit. Local and state leaders say the $39 million project preserves the town’s mill heritage while easing housing pressures for residents of all ages, with move-ins expected to begin September 1 and applications still being accepted.
