• New Center Playground puts accessibility and inclusion front and center (lexobserver.org) — Lexington families now have a fully rebuilt, universally accessible Center Recreation Complex Playground, designed so children with mobility and vision challenges can enjoy every feature. Funded with $1.49 million in Community Preservation Act money and opened August 10, the site includes an accessible zipline, wheelchair-friendly surfacing, and equipment shaped by extensive input from Lexington residents, schools, and disability advocates.
