• Robert Edward McCauley (grotonherald.com) — A celebration of life for Groton resident Robert Edward McCauley will be held this Saturday, April 18, at First Church Unitarian on Foster Street in Littleton. Friends and neighbors are invited to remember his decades in technology, his volunteer work with aquariums and cancer patients, and the time he cherished with his wife, children, and six grandchildren. 
• CASE Collaborative reserve funds approved (carlislemosquito.org) — Littleton is one of nine school districts in the CASE Collaborative, which is moving to significantly increase its capital reserve limit to more than $4.3 million, largely for future land purchases. The change, already effectively approved after a 45-day window for member votes, could shape how and where specialized special-education and transportation services are delivered for Littleton students in coming years.
