Lynnfield's MarketStreet To Host Northeast Arc Run, Walk And Roll For Inclusion

LYNNFIELD, MA — MarketStreet in Lynnfield will host the return of Northeast Arc's Annual Run, Walk and Roll for Inclusion on Sunday — bringing together runners, walkers, families and community members for a morning event centered on inclusion.

Registration at 600 Market Street begins at 7:30 a.m.

Participants of all abilities can choose from a 5K race beginning at 9 a.m. or a one-mile walk and roll starting at 9:10 a.m. Registration is open to individuals and teams.

The cost is $35 for the 5K and $10 for the one-mile walk and roll.

Proceeds and fundraising will support Northeast Arc's programs for people with disabilities and autism. Northeast Arc is a nonprofit serving more than 10,000 individuals and families across nearly 200 Massachusetts communities.

The organization provides support from birth through adulthood and was founded in 1954 by families seeking a more inclusive world for their children.

A new Kids' Fun Run is also planned after the Run, Walk and Roll for children ages 10 and under. The run will cover about a quarter-mile around the event grounds.

The public is also invited to stay after the races for a free Family Fun Fest from 9:30 to 11 a.m. The festival will include balloon art, bubbles, face painting, music, swag and samples from MarketStreet businesses.

The Family Fun Fest is free and open to the public.
