Community support helped her land affordable space at Stock Pot Malden, while a proposed state bill could eventually let Malden residents legally sell certain homemade foods from home.

• 30 Local Firefighters Graduate from Firefighting Academy (advocatenews.net) — Two new Malden firefighters, Justin Horvath and Hadari Binda, have graduated from the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy's intensive 50-day recruit program, joining 28 peers from across the state.
