Kids will explore how electricity flows by building simple circuits with Snap Circuits. By connecting LEDs, light bulbs, wires, and switches, participants will experiment with series and parallel circuits to see how different setups affect brightness and performance. The Snap Circuits sets are used during the program so participants can see why lights turn on or off based on their setup, not just the switches.
Space is limited to 10 participants ages 8-12, and online registration is required. Please register at tinyurl.com/kids-light-circuits. This program is led by Dan Saulnier, Technical Resource Specialist at the library.
Funding for this program has been provided by the Abbot Public Library Foundation.
