Marblehead Church To Host Free North Shore Chamber Music Society Bach Concert
The Oct. 18 performance at St. Michael's Episcopal Church will feature Bach works for organ, strings and ensemble.
MARBLEHEAD, MA — The North Shore Chamber Music Society has announced an afternoon concert of music by J.S. Bach on Oct. 18 at St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Marblehead.
The performance is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the church, 26 Pleasant Street.
The program will open with Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, BWV 565, performed by Christopher Wells on organ. The concert will also include Concerto for 2 Violins in D Minor, BWV 1043, with Scott Hufford and Rachel Shiryayeva on violins and Mary Jane Febonio on cello.

Additional selections on the program include Duets, BWV 802-805, performed by Rachel Shiryayeva on violin and Mary Jane Febonio on cello.
The concert is also set to feature Contrapunctus 1-5 from Die Kunst der Fuge, BWV 1080, with Shiryayeva and Hufford on violins, Rome Pozgay on viola and Febonio on cello.

There is no admission charge for the concert.
The North Shore Chamber Music Society is asking audience members to make free-will at-the-door contributions for St. Michael's.
