Downtown Medford Dunkin' Relocates Within The Square
Medford customers will not have to make a big adjustment after this store moved just a stone's throw away from its old home.

MEDFORD, MA — The Dunkin' location in downtown Medford has relocated to a new space within Medford Square.
The shop is now located at 34 Salem St. after previously operating at 2 and 4 Salem St. The business took over a storefront previously occupied by Aurora 34 Esthetics in the former Medford Theatre building.
Megan Pesce, of franchise operator The Pesce Network, announced the relocation in a LinkedIn post. She said the renovated property offered improved access and additional parking for customers. The operators purchased the condominium space, with Pesce saying the mortgage payment was lower than the rent at the previous location, reducing monthly occupancy costs.

“Owning the building is an important part of our long-term strategy,” Pesce wrote.
The storefront previously housed an Elizabeth Grady location, which rebranded as Aurora 34 Esthetics in 2024. The skincare business now operates at 92 High St., on the first floor of the Medford Armory.

The former Medford Theatre building, also known as the Dyer Building, was built in 1915 for stage performances and movies. It was designed and constructed by local architect Michael A. Dyer, whose firm later built Medford City Hall.
Dunkin's former storefront at the corner of Forest and Salem streets also has a connection to the city's business history. The space was in the Bigelow Building and previously housed Volpe's Grocery Store, according to a September 2019 newsletter from the Medford Historical Society & Museum.
The Pesce Network was built by Mark and Megan Pesce. According to an announcement from Dunkin' parent company Inspire Brands, the business had grown to include 63 Dunkin' locations and five combined Dunkin' and Jimmy John's restaurants.
