Somerville/Medford Remembering Emmet Franklin Smith (thesomervillenewsweekly.blog) — Family and friends in Somerville and Medford are mourning the passing of 94-year-old Emmet "Frank" Smith, whose children Elizabeth Roche and Diane Smith live in Medford. A longtime Somerville civic volunteer, engineer, veteran, and musician, he leaves a large extended family; visiting hours are Sunday, September 13 in Reading, with a funeral service there on Monday, September 14.
