1. Tufts Day of Service 2026 (tufts.edu) — Tufts University is inviting Medford neighbors to join its Day of Service on September 18 at the Gantcher Family Field House on College Avenue. From 1 to 3:30 p.m., volunteers will gather for a short program, then walk to nearby service sites, with snacks, raffle prizes, and free T‑shirts making it an easy way to pitch in locally.

4. Malden/Melrose Rep. Lipper-Garabedian wins 5th Middlesex State Senate primary election (advocatenews.net) — Medford voters helped reelect longtime state Rep. Paul Donato, who secured more than 2,500 local votes on his way to a 14th term representing parts of the city in the 35th Middlesex District.
