Newton Police Investigating String Of Pro-Israel Signs Vandalized
The incidents occurred at homes in the same neighborhood.
NEWTON, MA — The police department announced it is investigating four incidents of vandalism believed to be possibly connected.
During the daytime hours of Thursday, April 16 and Friday, April 17, bags of dog feces were placed next to “We Stand With Israel” signs outside of Newton Centre residences on Homer Street, Kenwood Road, Manement Road, and Fenno Road. According to police, one of the signs was removed from the ground and vandalized with a red substance.
“These incidents occurred within a small neighborhood area,” the department said in a statement. “In response, officers are conducting directed patrols and increasing visibility throughout the affected locations.”
