📰 News we're reading

• Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Serious Crash In Northborough (patch.com) — Northborough police and emergency crews shut down Route 20 at Bartlett Street Wednesday night after a serious crash between a motorcycle and a vehicle. A 30-year-old Framingham motorcyclist suffered significant injuries and was taken to a local hospital, while the other driver was unhurt. The CMLEC accident reconstruction team is investigating, and police have not yet released an update on the victim's condition.

• Residents form organized opposition against Amazon's bid to bring drone delivery to local area (communityadvocate.com) — Northborough residents are among those organizing against Amazon's plan to launch high-speed delivery drones from its Otis Street facility in nearby Westborough, which would serve homes within a 7.5‑mile radius. A new group, Mass Blue Skies, and local legislators are pressing Amazon and the Westborough Planning Board for a pause and more public input, arguing affected towns like Northborough currently have little direct control.
