• Mother remembers 8-year-old killed in North Reading crash: 'No such thing as closure' (wcvb.com) — An 8-year-old girl was killed in a suspected drunk-driving crash while stopped at a red light on Route 28 in North Reading, and her mother is now sharing memories of her kindness and spirit. Police say the driver was allegedly fleeing an earlier hit-and-run, and he is being held on significant bail as the family and local faith community grieve together.
