• Obituary: Catherine (Gonzalo) McDonald, 97 (thereadingpost.com) — North Reading is mourning the loss of 97‑year‑old Catherine (Gonzalo) McDonald, a 50‑year town resident and member of the North Reading Historical Society and St. Theresa's Church. Remembered for her work at the local Brooks/Rite Aid, her love of history, music, and simple pleasures, she leaves behind children, grandchildren, and great‑grandchildren. Services will be private per her wishes.
