• 2 Mass. drivers dead in head-on R.I. crash (boston.com) — A Norton resident, 44-year-old Jonathan Welch, died after his Dodge Ram was struck head-on by a speeding Hyundai on Route 295 in Cumberland, Rhode Island. Rhode Island State Police say speed and the Hyundai driver's loss of control appear to be primary factors, and the investigation is still ongoing.
