Duxbury Mom Lindsay Clancy's Bid For Not Guilty Verdict Denied
Her lawyer claimed prosecutors failed to prove she killed her three children.

PLYMOUTH, MA — Lindsay Clancy's post-trial bid for a not giulty verdict fell short.
"A rational juror could reasonably have found Ms. Clancy, 36, guilty of the murder of her three children based on the evidence presented, the judge, William Sullivan, wrote on Thursday," the New York Time reported.
Deapite the judge's finding, Clancy may not face another triple murder trial.

"Prosecutors have said that in January 2023, Clancy intentionally strangled the three children with fitness bands in their Massachusetts home before jumping out of a second-floor window," the BBC reported. "Clancy, now 36, was paralysed by the jump and has attended the trial in a wheelchair."
"Clancy has admitted that she killed her children in 2023. However, her attorney, Kevin Reddington, claims her mental state was so impaired by postpartum mental illness that she shouldn’t be held criminally responsible for their deaths," according to WBUR.
Judge William Sullivan declared a mistrial Sept. 4.
The next hearing in the Clancy case was scheduled for Nov. 2
