• Massachusetts High Court Clarifies Limits of Chapter 93A in Right of First Refusal Disputes (natlawreview.com) — Residents of the Pocasset Park manufactured home community in Bourne are at the center of a new Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court ruling that narrows when Chapter 93A applies in right-of-first-refusal disputes. The court found Crown Communities’ incentives and mistaken rent-control statements were made in good faith, rejecting the homeowners association’s unfair and deceptive practices claims but clarifying the high bar for similar tenant challenges statewide.
