Quincy Is Stepping Up To Battle Clothing Insecurity

Quincy is doing its part to make sure everyone has clothing this fall.

QUINCY, MA — With colder weather on the horizon, the city of Quincy is stepping up to help those in need.

On Oct. 23, the city of Quincy, in partnership with Cradles to Crayons, will accept clothing donations at various locations to combat clothing insecurity.

Anyone willing to donate can drop off clothes at locations throughout the city. Drop-off locations include the Quincy Police Department, Quincy City Hall, Roots & Roasts, Toodie’s Fine Jewelry and Wollaston Elementary School.

All donations will go to those in need of clothing this fall and winter.

This isn't the first time the city has stepped up to help. Quincy also hosted a clothing donation drive on Oct. 5. However, residents will now have one final chance to dig through their closets and donate.

All clothing donations will be accepted, including gently used items.

One in three children in the country is at risk of clothing insecurity, and Quincy is doing its part to help reduce that number.

Donations will be accepted throughout the day on Oct. 23.
