• 🐨 Killam School Building Committee 9-28-26 AI Recap (readingrecap.com) — Reading's Killam School Building Committee approved a $567,742.50 payment to Brait Builders for August construction work, after trimming about $20,000 in site-work charges. Members focused on documentation, bond costs, and soil-disposal approvals that are slowing excavation. Future meetings this fall will track construction progress and refine how billing is reviewed. 
• Being Jonas Wilder — A Solo Music-Theater Evening (thereadingpost.com) — A free solo music-theater performance, "Being Jonas Wilder," is coming to the Unitarian Universalist Church of Reading on Saturday, October 10 at 3:30 p.m. The 70-minute show blends concert, memoir, and storytelling, featuring singer-songwriter and author Mark Firehammer. Donations are welcome and will support both the church and the Creative Humanity Alliance.
