4. 🌻 Council on Aging 9-14-26 AI Recap (readingrecap.com) — Reading's Council on Aging just advanced several key initiatives, from overseeing construction of the new Center for Active Living to funding new programs and training for senior services. Members approved representatives for furniture planning, backed Tufts Osher lectures, supported conference attendance, and shifted from a townwide survey toward more direct outreach and engagement with older residents.
   

5. 📚 Board of Library Trustees 9-14-26 AI Recap (readingrecap.com) — Reading's library trustees celebrated a record-setting summer, including 821 attendees at Touch a Truck and 667 summer reading sign-ups, and previewed a busy fall focused on multilingual, sustainable, and community-building programs.
