• Boater taken to hospital after wave throws two people into water off Nahant (wcvb.com) — A boater thrown into the water by a large wave off Nahant was rescued by Nahant firefighters and taken to Salem Hospital, where their condition remains unknown. The incident, which also drew Swampscott responders, underscores local boating risks just off our shoreline and the critical role Salem's hospital plays in regional emergencies.
