Free Vaccine Clinics Scheduled Across Somerville

Residents will have plenty of opportunities to get shots throughout October and November.

SOMERVILLE, MA — The city is holding free COVID-19 and flu vaccination clinics at locations across Somerville this fall.

The clinics are scheduled throughout October and November at the Tufts Administration Building, Somerville Office of Immigrant Affairs, City Hall Annex, and Council on Aging. Residents are encouraged to register ahead of time, but walk-up availability will be limited, according to the city.

The clinics come as Somerville continues its effort to make vaccinations available to residents ahead of the fall and winter months. Vaccines will be offered with no out-of-pocket costs, including for residents without health insurance. Residents who have health insurance are asked to bring proof of coverage. High-dose flu vaccines will also be available to people aged 65 and older, though the city said clinics cannot accommodate vaccine manufacturer preferences.
