Officials highlight strong reserves, a long-range capital plan, and upcoming May town meetings where voters will weigh ambulance funding and other warrant articles. 
• Tri-Town Boards of Health weigh policy banning tobacco product sales for future buyers (theberkshireedge.com) — Stockbridge’s Tri-Town Board of Health is weighing a Nicotine Free Generation policy that could permanently bar anyone born after a set date from ever buying tobacco locally. At an April 8 presentation, health experts outlined how the policy targets youth addiction while sparing current legal users, and Tri-Town members from Stockbridge, Lee, and Lenox debated its effectiveness and enforcement for local retailers.
