• Norfolk County Sheriff's Office to host 'House to House for Heroes' veterans' outreach in Avon on September 26th (franklinmatters.org) — Stoughton veterans and volunteers may be interested that Norfolk County's next "House to House for Heroes" outreach will take place in nearby Avon on Saturday, September 26, 2026, starting at VFW Post 8892. The program, which has previously come to Stoughton, sends volunteers door-to-door to share information on benefits, healthcare, housing, and employment resources with local veterans, and no advance registration is required.
