• Sudbury Opens Search For Conservation Land Manager (patch.com) — Sudbury is recruiting a new conservation land manager to help care for more than 1,800 acres of protected land and conservation-restricted property across town. The role involves everything from trail and meadow maintenance to invasive species control, habitat restoration, and organizing volunteer projects, with frequent outdoor work in woods and wetlands. Residents interested in the position can contact Sudbury Human Resources for application details.
   

• Sudbury MA man sentenced for embezzling nearly $8M from two employers (metrowestdailynews.com) — A Sudbury resident has been sentenced in federal court to four years in prison and ordered to pay $7.8 million in restitution for embezzling nearly $8 million from two medical employers. Prosecutors say he issued himself fraudulent payroll bonuses and used company funds for personal expenses and a Hudson home. His house will be forfeited toward restitution, and he must report to prison in late December.
