• Sudbury Opens Search For Recreation Program Coordinator (patch.com) — Sudbury is hiring a full-time recreation program coordinator based at the Fairbank Community Center to design activities for residents of all ages. The role manages programs using the center's pool, gym, courts and classrooms, and requires relevant recreation experience plus a valid driver's license. Interested residents can apply for this benefits-eligible town position.
   

• MA group's virtual event to target these factors in domestic violence (metrowestdailynews.com) — A Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable Zoom event on Sept. 28 will explore how identity and social factors affect survivors' experiences seeking safety and support. Featuring the Massachusetts Women of Color Network, the program invites local residents and community leaders to discuss building more culturally responsive, survivor-centered communities and how to respond when someone discloses abuse.
   

• Sudbury Man Who Stole $7.8M From Former Employers Sentenced To Prison (patch.com) — A Sudbury resident has been sentenced in Worcester federal court to four years in prison and four years of supervised release for embezzling about $7.8 million from two medical practices where he managed payroll. Prosecutors say he issued himself extra paychecks and used company funds for personal credit cards and home upgrades, and he must pay millions in restitution and forfeiture.
