Somerville Theatre

Created with an entirely Massachusetts-based crew, new independent feature film, Watching Mr. Pearson, will have its Massachusetts premiere at the historic Somerville Theatre from April 19th - 21st at 7pm each night. All showings will be followed by a live Q&amp;A&nbsp;featuring the Director (Dillon Bentlage of Malden), Producers (Brian Reilly of Tewksbury and Samantha Valletta of Worcester), and Director of Photography (Peter Nogueira or Merrimac).&nbsp;SUNDAY'S&nbsp;SHOW&nbsp;IS&nbsp;ALREADY&nbsp;SOLD&nbsp;OUT SO&nbsp;ACT&nbsp;FAST&nbsp;FOR&nbsp;MONDAY&nbsp;AND&nbsp;TUESDAY!Watching Mr. Pearson is a warmly comedic, heartfelt drama about a former Hollywood actor battling mental decline and the friendship he forms with one of his caretakers, who helps him reconnect with the world that once left him behind.

Tewksbury’s Wamesit Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons partners with the American Red Cross to collect blood donations that help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. If interested in donating blood, please schedule an appointment by downloading the American Red Cross Blood Donor app, by visiting <a href="https://www.redcrossblood.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">https://www.redcrossblood.org/</a>, or by using the QR code below. The blood donation process from the time you arrive until the time you leave takes about an hour, although the donation itself is only about 8-10 minutes of that time on average.

Choose between general admission seating or book an 'Eight-Track' table for your group, with food and drink available for purchase throughout the night. Soldier On owns and operates the Gordon H. Mansfield Veterans Community, 21-units of supportive affordable housing for formerly homeless veterans at 1660 Main Street in&nbsp;Tewksbury.&nbsp;Soldier On is a 501(c)(3) private nonprofit organization dedicated to ending homelessness among veterans. Since 1994, we have provided transitional and emergency housing alongside critical supportive services—case management, medical and dental care coordination, mental health and addiction treatment, financial literacy education, and transportation assistance.
For more than three decades, Soldier On has been “Changing the End of The Story” for veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness by delivering—and coordinating—an extensive continuum of housing and support services.
To reach veterans where they are, Soldier On also operates a mobile, door-to-door outreach program through Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF), serving veterans and their families across New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Massachusetts. Since 2011, nearly 40,000 veterans have received case management, referrals, and temporary financial assistance to help stabilize their housing.
Across our affordable housing communities, Soldier On currently provides housing and wraparound support services to 525 veterans. We promote long-term stability through on-site supportive services, transportation assistance, wellness services, legal support, and end-of-life care.
