• 18-year-old uses ‘grit and determination' to help with own rescue from Mount Washington (boston.com) — A Topsfield teen showed remarkable determination after injuring his leg while hiking Mount Washington, crawling and hopping toward the summit to meet rescuers. New Hampshire Fish and Game officers and a search-and-rescue team stabilized him near the top and drove him down the auto road, where he declined ambulance transport.
