• Bankrupt Marine Retailer Plans to Close 59 Stores Across 23 States (whatnow.com) — West Marine plans to close its Vineyard Haven store as part of a nationwide shutdown of 59 locations during its Chapter 11 restructuring. While about 200 stores and online shopping will remain, the local closure means Vineyard Haven boaters and marine businesses may soon need to look off-Island or online for many supplies.
