• Middlesex Sheriff's Office Celebrates Successful 25th Season of its Youth Public Safety Academy (thereadingpost.com) — Wakefield kids were among more than 500 cadets who joined the Middlesex Sheriff's Youth Public Safety Academy this summer, learning about police, fire, and emergency services through hands-on activities. The five one-week sessions in Chelmsford marked the program's 25th year and featured partners from state police units to health and utility organizations, all focused on safety, leadership, and confidence-building.
