Taps will temporarily be turned off so city workers can complete water system upgrades.
WALTHAM, MA — Residents and businesses in part of downtown Waltham will have to go temporarily without running water on Wednesday morning.
Water taps will be dry in a two-block stretch of Charles Street, between the Grant Street intersection and 44 Charles St.
The shut-down will begin at 9 a.m. and is necessary so the city can complete water system upgrades in the area, according to a notice Tuesday afternoon.
