• New England ABMDR's 15th Annual Walk of Life Returns to Watertown September 19 (oragark.com subscription) — A major community walk is coming back to Watertown on Saturday, Sept. 19, starting at St. James Armenian Church on Mount Auburn Street, with registration opening at 10:30 a.m. The Armenian Bone Marrow Donor Registry's 15th Annual Walk of Life invites residents of all ages to raise awareness for lifesaving stem-cell donations, enjoy prizes, and support patients battling serious blood diseases worldwide.

What your neighbors are talking about on social media
- I'm helping my elderly parents downsize and my mom has fur coats from my grandmother and great-aunts from the 60s, 70s, and 80s in great condition (these were prized back in the day and treated well).
Before I get angry comments- *I* don't support the fur coat industry or animal cruelty, so I'd prefer to not have any comments on that aspect. But… (Nextdoor Watertown East)
