• Brownsberger Holds Off Lander by 35 Votes After Recount in State Senate Primary (thecrimson.com) — Watertown residents will continue to be represented by State Senator William Brownsberger after he narrowly defeated challenger Daniel Lander by 35 votes in a districtwide recount of the Democratic primary. With no Republican opponent in November, the Suffolk and Middlesex district seat—covering Watertown, Belmont, and parts of Boston and Cambridge—is effectively secured, shaping how local issues will be handled on Beacon Hill.

• CatholicTV Makes Daily Mass More Accessible (patheos.com) — CatholicTV, based in Watertown, is rolling out a redesigned website and new streaming apps that make its daily Mass and other programming easier to access, including full captioning and offline viewing. For Watertown residents, this means the long-running local chapel broadcast is now more accessible on phones, TVs, and computers, especially for homebound or hospitalized viewers.
