Wayland School Ranked Among Best Public High Schools In MA

WAYLAND, MA — A Wayland school ranked among the state's top 25 high schools, according to a new analysis.

Wayland High School was ranked No. 20 in the state in Niche’s 2027 Best Schools and Districts in America rankings released Monday. The online school platform analyzed 93,000 public schools, 30,000 private schools and 11,000 school districts nationwide.

Wayland High School, located at 264 Old Connecticut Path, serves about 800 students in grades nine through 12 and has a student-teacher ratio of approximately 11-to-1. The school offers courses in English, social studies, mathematics, science, world languages, wellness and the fine and performing arts, along with a broad range of electives.

Wayland High School also offers Advanced Placement courses and individualized academic services through its Learning Resources Team. Its music program has repeatedly earned the NAMM Foundation’s Best Communities for Music Education designation.

For Massachusetts, the best public high school was the Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science in Worcester. You can find the complete list of schools here.
