Westborough Fire Department To Host Boston Children's Blood Drive
Boston Children's says a whole-blood donation can help as many as four children.
WESTBOROUGH, MA — Residents can help children in need by donating blood at a Boston Children's Hospital blood drive in Westborough later this month.
Boston Children's Hospital will bring its Bloodmobile to Westborough for a local blood drive. The drive will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, July 24, at the Westborough Fire Department at 42 Milk St.
Boston Children's says a whole-blood donation takes about 30 minutes and can help as many as four children. The hospital says donors may be eligible if they are in good health, at least 17 years old, or 16 with parental consent, weigh at least 110 pounds and have a photo ID.
