Westford Man Cashes $475K Prize On Mass Lottery Game

WESTFORD, MA — A Westford man won $475,118 playing a Mass Lottery online game.

Michael Berman had placed a $10 bet on Big Crush Multiplier when he won the prize.

Berman picked up his prize at the Mass Lottery’s headquarters in Dorchester, according to a Mass Lottery statement.

When claiming his prize, he said, "It's still surreal. It will be surreal for a while I think, even now that I've gotten the check I can't believe it. I'm still shocked.”

Berman plans on investing and saving his winnings.

Prizes won purchased online of $50,000 or more must be claimed at the lottery’s headquarters in Dorchester.

To play Mass Lottery games online, players must be 21 or older and physically located in Massachusetts at the time of play and to make a deposit to their account.
