• Historic board calls out building department over barn demo (eastbayri.com) — Westport’s Historical Commission is pressing the town’s building department after a historic Adamsville Road barn was partially demolished without the required commission review, and a second demolition permit was filed. Commissioners say this and a separate Valentine Lane siding project show procedures aren’t being followed, and they’re pushing for tighter coordination to better protect Westport’s historic character and remaining farm structures.
