• Owner of Amelia's in Stoughton admits to $515K tax evasion scheme (patriotledger.com) — A Westwood resident who co-owns Amelia's restaurant in Stoughton has admitted in federal court to a years-long scheme to evade more than $500,000 in employment taxes. Prosecutors say he paid workers partly in unreported cash and filed false payroll returns; he now faces sentencing in December and at least $2.5 million in restitution.
